![]() Once you have the paper perfectl symmetrical exactly where you want the drames to go, start putting the nails in the wall. Once you have the paper taped to the wall in the area you choose, check each row and column for level-ness and slightly adjust it as needed. Tape the wrapping paper to the wall (grid sign facing you) and use a level to make sure its straight. Keep it along the straight grid line so you know they will all be evenly across once the paper is level to the wall. Once you have the frames traced, it should be rather easy to determine the exact places you need the nail holes to go. Measure and mark where the nail holes go. We traced each frame 2 squares (inches) apart so it would be perfectly symmetrical on the wall.ģ. ![]() It made the entire process super simple and EASY. The most crucial tip I have is to get wrapping paper with grid lines on the back. (Tape two pieces together if your paper isn’t wide enough). We quickly realized it was going to be MUCH more work than leaving the wrapping paper as one large sheet. We originally traced each frame individually and tried to hand each on perfectly straight and centered. Trace the frames on ONE LARGE SHEET of wrapping paper. If you use the wire: when you are all done and finished, you may notice a frame or two are slightly higher than others - that can be fixed by loosening the wire! 2. I attached wire to the back of each frame so I only needed to put one hole, but looking back, it was such an easy method that I think the two holes would have been fine and perfectly straight.īut if you choose to add wire, I added it to the provided hooks and tested it for tension when finished to make sure the wire hangs exactly even for all the frames.
